Elisa Invitational Fall 2022 Contenders Stage starts next Monday, August 15th. From 16 Contender teams, only the top 8 will continue to the Main Stage.
After Open and Closed Qualifier Matches, we’ve now all the Contenders Stage teams ready to roll on next Monday.
From these 16 teams, the top 8 will advance to the next phase of the tournament, the Main Stage, where the Invite teams are already waiting. From the Main Stage, the top 8 teams will get into the Elisa Invitational Fall 2022 Playoffs.

As we move toward the Elisa Masters Espoo ’22 event, we gladly announce an addition to our team. Taneli “disturbed” Veikkola, former Pro Player and Head Coach of the Finnish CS:GO team HAVU, joins us as our new Head of Relations. Taneli’s main focus will be VIP experiences and hospitality at our upcoming and future events.

Elisa Invitational CS:GO tournament series will continue with the Fall edition! Elisa Invitational Fall 2022 will be played between qualified teams and some of the most prestigious invite teams in the world. The tournament starts in the 15th of August.
The next Elisa Invitational season will be played from the 15th of August to the 19th of October 2022. Opening qualifiers will be played on the 9th of August, where 6 teams among 10 invites will get their spot in the Contenders stage. The invited teams will be announced closer to the event.
Teams will be competing for a total Prize Pool of $25,000 and 2 spots in the Elisa Masters Espoo ’22 event.

Kesäkuussa julkaistun Elisa Masters Espoo ’22 -tapahtuman lavalla tullaan näkemään kotimaisia huippujoukkueita, kun kotimaisen huippuliiga Elisa Openin syyskauden finaaliottelu tullaan pelaamaan Espoon Metro Areenalla sunnuntaina 20. marraskuuta 2022. Liiga tarjoaa maailmanluokan mahdollisuuden nouseville suomalaisille pelaajille ja joukkueille. Liigan 1. ja 2. sijoittuneet joukkueet lunastavat paikan kansainväliseen Elisa Invitational -turnaukseen, muodostaen uusia sankaritarinoita tulevaisuuden tapahtumiin.
Kolmatta kertaa järjestettävä Elisa Open Suomi pelataan ensimmäistä kertaa 2 lohkossa, 12 joukkueella. Kausi starttaa avoimien karsintojen osalta maanantaina 22. elokuuta 2022. Lohko-ottelut alkaa maanantaina 5. syyskuuta 2022 ja kausi huipentuu Espoon Metro Areenalla pelattavaan finaaliin sunnuntaina 20. marraskuuta 2022.

Elisa is organizing an extraordinary arena event Elisa Masters Espoo ’22. The event will be held at Espoo Metro Arena on 18th – 20th of November 2022. The tournament will have its winner invited to compete within the ESL Pro Tour at Intel® Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice 2023.
The Elisa Masters Espoo ’22 tournament is the world’s first Official ESL Pro Tour Affiliate Event for CS:GO. The tournament will be handing out a total of $200,000 in prize money and a spot for the winner in the Play-In Stage of the prestigious IEM Katowice 2023, where more than 100,000 esports fans gather each year to watch the world’s top teams compete for a prize pool of $1,000,000.
Among the top teams in the world, ENCE, a Finnish powerhouse has confirmed its participation
The 12 teams competing in the Elisa Masters Espoo ’22 tournament will be chosen in two ways. 8 teams will be invited based on their previous success. The first invite team is ENCE, which holds the 2nd place in the ESL World Ranking. 4 teams will find their way out of Elisa Invitational, the international tournament series organized by Elisa Esports. The event will provide visitors with gaming experiences and esports entertainment unprecedented in Finland, throughout the weekend. The tournaments feature Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). The age limit for the event is 16 years – 13 years with an adult guardian.

XZ tavoittaa tätä kautta myös nuoret miehet ja tuo tutuksi uudistuvaa brändiä ja valikoimaa esports-yhteisölle. Yhteistyö jatkuu kevään kampanjan jälkeen syksyllä.

Laura on tehnyt jo aikaisemminkin yhteistyötä Elisa Esportsin kanssa: “On ollut ilo seurata jo useamman vuoden ajan laadukkaita kilpapelilähetyksiä ja sisältöjä tuottavan Elisa Esportsin toimintaa ja nyt innolla lähdemme XZ-brändin kanssa tekemään yhteistyötä ja tukemaan lajia osaltamme.”
Yhteistyö on Elisa Esportsillekin avaus uudenlaiseen tuotekategoriaan ja tuo mielestämme esiin hyvin esportsin vuosien varrella muuttunutta imagoa:
