Elisa Esports ja Ammattiliitto Pro yhteistyöhön Elisa Open -turnauksen kuudennella kaudella
Olemme iloisia voidessamme ilmoittaa merkittävästä yhteistyöstä Ammattiliitto Pron kanssa tulevan Elisa Open -turnauksen kuudennella kaudella, joka tunnetaan nyt virallisesti nimellä Elisa Pro Open 6. Tämä yhteistyö edistää entisestään sitoutumistamme suomalaisen e-urheilukentän tukemiseen.
Ammattiliitto Pro on ensimmäinen ammattiliitto, joka sijoittaa merkittävästi kotimaiseen e-urheiluun. Tämä suuri panostus korostaa e-urheilualan kasvavaa merkitystä ja sen ammattilaisten asemaa. Yhteistyö on lisäksi merkittävä askel e-urheilun ammattilaisten tukemisessa ja tunnustamisessa Suomessa.
Salla Matilainen, Ammattiliitto Pron Viestintäpäällikkö, kommentoi yhteistyötä innostuneena: “Me Prolla turvaamme ammattiliittona jäsentemme työehdot ja ansiokehityksen tiukoissakin tilanteissa. Haluamme kannustaa myös Elisa Openin pelaajia valitsemaan työelämän parhaan taktiikan ja liittymään ammattiliittoon.”
Olli-Pekka Villa, Head of Elisa Esports, ilmaisi myös innostuksensa alkaneesta kumppanuudesta: “Yhteistyömme Ammattiliitto Pron kanssa Elisa Pro Open 6 -turnauksessa on merkittävä askel kykyjen vaalimisessa, ja tarjoaa suomalaisille pelaajille mahdollisuuden loistaa. Yhdessä asetamme näyttämön unohtumattomalle kilpailun ja yhteisöllisyyden kaudelle.”
Elisa Pro Open 6 –turnauksessa pelaa tuttuun tapaan kahdeksan suomalaista joukkuetta. Mukana kutsujoukkueina ovat JANO, RoundsGG, ENCE Academy sekä HAVU Gaming. Kutsujoukkueita pääsee haastamaan neljä joukkuetta avoimista karsinnoista. Avoimet karsinnat pelataan 6.-7. huhtikuuta. Linkit karsintoihin löydät artikkelin lopusta.
Elisa Pro Open 6 tullaan pelaamaan 13. huhtikuuta – 5. toukokuuta. Pudotuspelivaihe pelataan 28. huhtikuuta – 5. toukokuuta. Turnauksen kahden lohkon lohkovaihe ja pudotuspelit pelataan GSL Double Elimination -formaatilla. Yhdestä lohkosta jatkoon karsiutuu kaksi parasta joukkuetta. Kaikki ottelut pelataan Best-of-3-formaatilla.
Palkintopotissa on yhteensä 5000 euroa. Voittaja nappaa itselleen 3000 euroa, toiseksi tullut 1500 euroa ja kolmanneksi sijoittunut 500 euroa. Finalistit lunastavat paikat arvostettuun Suomen mestaruuden näyttämöön, Elisa Esportsin järjestämään eSM-turnaukseen.
Kaikki Elisa Pro Open 6 -kauden ottelut tullaan näkemään Elisa Viihteellä sekä Elisa Viihde Sportin Twitch-kanavalla.

Mark your calendars as the Elisa Invitational Spring 2024 heats up from the 26th of February to the 18th of May 2024. The journey to glory begins with the Open Qualifiers on the 10th and 11th of February, a crucial battleground where the top 2 teams from each qualifier will earn their place in the Contenders Stage, where 12 invite teams await them.
Stage 1 – Qualifiers
- Participants: Open to European teams.
- Dates: 10th and 11th of February.
- Format: The top 2 teams from each Qualifier secure a spot in Stage 2, the Contenders Stage.
- Signups: Open now!
- 1st Open Qualifier on 10th of February: SIGN UP HERE
- 2nd Open Qualifier on 11th of February: SIGN UP HERE
Stage 2 – Contenders
- Dates: February 26th – March 15th.
- Format: Swiss Group (All matches Best-of-3) with 12 invite teams and 4 teams from the Open Qualifiers.
- Advancement: The top 8 teams advance to Stage 3, Main Swiss.
Stage 3 – Main Swiss
- Dates: April 8th – May 2nd.
- Format: Swiss Group (Best-of-3) with 8 invite teams and 8 teams from the Contenders Stage.
- Advancement: The top 8 teams secure spots in Stage 4, the Playoffs.
Stage 4 – Playoffs
- Dates: May 14th – May 18th.
- Format: Single Elimination Bracket with 4 rounds of play: Opening Matches, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Grand Final.
- Participants: 12 teams in total; 8 teams in the Opening Matches from Main Swiss, 4 teams invited straight to the Quarter Finals.
The competition is fierce with a $25,000 prize pool at stake, offering not only monetary rewards but also a chance to be invited to a special, yet-to-be-revealed LAN event.
The prize distribution:
1. $10,000 and an invite to an unannounced LAN event.
2. $5,000.
3.-4. $2,000.
5.-8. $1,000 each.
9.-12. $500 each.

Elisa Invitational Fall 2022 Contenders Stage starts next Monday, August 15th. From 16 Contender teams, only the top 8 will continue to the Main Stage.
After Open and Closed Qualifier Matches, we’ve now all the Contenders Stage teams ready to roll on next Monday.
From these 16 teams, the top 8 will advance to the next phase of the tournament, the Main Stage, where the Invite teams are already waiting. From the Main Stage, the top 8 teams will get into the Elisa Invitational Fall 2022 Playoffs.

Elisa Invitational CS:GO tournament series will continue with the Fall edition! Elisa Invitational Fall 2022 will be played between qualified teams and some of the most prestigious invite teams in the world. The tournament starts in the 15th of August.
The next Elisa Invitational season will be played from the 15th of August to the 19th of October 2022. Opening qualifiers will be played on the 9th of August, where 6 teams among 10 invites will get their spot in the Contenders stage. The invited teams will be announced closer to the event.
Teams will be competing for a total Prize Pool of $25,000 and 2 spots in the Elisa Masters Espoo ’22 event.

Kesäkuussa julkaistun Elisa Masters Espoo ’22 -tapahtuman lavalla tullaan näkemään kotimaisia huippujoukkueita, kun kotimaisen huippuliiga Elisa Openin syyskauden finaaliottelu tullaan pelaamaan Espoon Metro Areenalla sunnuntaina 20. marraskuuta 2022. Liiga tarjoaa maailmanluokan mahdollisuuden nouseville suomalaisille pelaajille ja joukkueille. Liigan 1. ja 2. sijoittuneet joukkueet lunastavat paikan kansainväliseen Elisa Invitational -turnaukseen, muodostaen uusia sankaritarinoita tulevaisuuden tapahtumiin.
Kolmatta kertaa järjestettävä Elisa Open Suomi pelataan ensimmäistä kertaa 2 lohkossa, 12 joukkueella. Kausi starttaa avoimien karsintojen osalta maanantaina 22. elokuuta 2022. Lohko-ottelut alkaa maanantaina 5. syyskuuta 2022 ja kausi huipentuu Espoon Metro Areenalla pelattavaan finaaliin sunnuntaina 20. marraskuuta 2022.
“Tänä vuonna julkaistu Elisa Open -konseptimme on ylittänyt odotuksemme suosionsa puolesta ja näinollen liigan laajentaminen onkin looginen seuraava askel kehittäessä tuotettamme. Olemme ylpeitä, kun saamme tuoda suomalaisia joukkueita esiin ison areenatapahtuman puitteissa”, juhlii Elisa Esportsin toiminnasta vastaava Teemu Koski.

From these 16 teams, the top 8 will advance to the next phase of the tournament, the Main Stage, where the Invite teams are already waiting. From the Main Stage, the top 8 teams will get into the Elisa Invitational Spring 2022 Playoffs.

Spring season is here!
As the world moves towards post-covid time, we here at Elisa Esports are also looking towards new ways of bringing you exciting content and tournaments. We are all eager to see our beloved players competing in live tournaments and as the year progresses, we are starting to prepare our own LAN events in the near future.
Regionals is now Contenders
As we have developed our product, we have noticed that our previous name for the tournament, “Regionals”, isn’t as descriptive as we would want it to be. We feel that Contenders gives a better picture of our competing teams that are rising through the ranks of numerous CS:GO teams. We want to position ourselves as a tournament organizer that offers a clear path towards the top of the ranks.

The upcoming season is just behind the corner! As our final teams are going through our qualifiers and invite process’, we hope to see you all on our broadcasts starting next week.

Restructuring the prize pool distribution
Another thing we want to address is our prize pool distribution. Currently our tournament circuit has revolved around online-events due to current pandemic. As we move closer towards more open world, we have started to prepare ourselves for bigger LAN events. We want our online tournaments to work as a road towards the end of the year, where we can gather together in person to celebrate high level Counter-Strike.
For this we have done the following changes to our prize pools:
- Elisa Invitational Spring 2022 – $50,000 + Invite to 2022 Finals
- Elisa Invitational Fall 2022 – $50,000 + Invite to 2022 Finals
