Arriving at the Espoo Metro Arena

Espoo Metro Arena is located at Urheilupuistontie 3, 02200 Espoo. You can easily reach the venue by public transportation or your own car.

Public Transportation

• Use HSL Route planner for the best options.
• Closest metro station: Urheilupuisto, about 500 meters away.
• Local buses: The lines within Espoo that pass by Metro Areena are 114 Tapiola (M)-Leppävaara,115 Tapiola (M)-Mankkaa and 119 Tapiola-Niittykumpu. There are also other lines running near Areena along Merituulentie.
• From Helsinki-Vantaa airport: Take a train to Helsinki railway station, then the metro to Urheilupuisto station.

Own Car

• Limited free parking available. Next to Urheilupuisto metro station, there is a parking space with ten charging points for electric cars, offering convenient access (approximately 500m) to the Espoo Metro Areena.

Entering the Espoo Metro Arena

• Tickets: Purchase your tickets in advance online at elisamasters.com. No door sales available.
• Entrances:
  • Main entrance for Lower Seat, Drinking Seat, and Floor Seat tickets.
  • Club doors for Premium Table and Monster Energy VIP tickets, and Boxes.
• Security: Bag checks at the gate. Prohibited items, substances, and outside food or drink will be removed. Bringing food is only allowed for health reasons. Be prepared to show proof of age.

• Monster Energy VIP Dining: VIP guests can enjoy buffet dining at Mario’s Restaurant in the VIP area. This exclusive experience is reserved for Monster Energy VIP ticket holders.

Vilpe continues its long-term cooperation with Elisa Esports and will again participate in the Elisa Masters Espoo 2024 event. Vilpe’s commitment to esports and supporting young talents underlines the company’s appreciation for both traditional and electronic sports.

Mark your calendars as the Elisa Invitational Spring 2024 heats up from the 26th of February to the 18th of May 2024. The journey to glory begins with the Open Qualifiers on the 10th and 11th of February, a crucial battleground where the top 2 teams from each qualifier will earn their place in the Contenders Stage, where 12 invite teams await them.

Stage 1 – Qualifiers

• Participants: Open to European teams.
• Dates: 10th and 11th of February.
• Format: The top 2 teams from each Qualifier secure a spot in Stage 2, the Contenders Stage.
• Signups: Open now!
  • 1st Open Qualifier on 10th of February: SIGN UP HERE
  • 2nd Open Qualifier on 11th of February: SIGN UP HERE

Stage 2 – Contenders

• Dates: February 26th – March 15th.
• Format: Swiss Group (All matches Best-of-3) with 12 invite teams and 4 teams from the Open Qualifiers.
• Advancement: The top 8 teams advance to Stage 3, Main Swiss.

Stage 3 – Main Swiss

• Dates: April 8th – May 2nd.
• Format: Swiss Group (Best-of-3) with 8 invite teams and 8 teams from the Contenders Stage.
• Advancement: The top 8 teams secure spots in Stage 4, the Playoffs.

Stage 4 – Playoffs

• Dates: May 14th – May 18th.
• Format: Single Elimination Bracket with 4 rounds of play: Opening Matches, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals and Grand Final.
• Participants: 12 teams in total; 8 teams in the Opening Matches from Main Swiss, 4 teams invited straight to the Quarter Finals.

The competition is fierce with a $25,000 prize pool at stake, offering not only monetary rewards but also a chance to be invited to a special, yet-to-be-revealed LAN event.
