We’re bringing top-tier Counter-Strike 2 action to Vaasa, as Nordic esports takes center stage in Finland’s energy capital! The Elisa Nordic Championship 2025 will unite the best teams from Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, as the champions of their national CS2 leagues face off in an intense showdown. With eight Nordic teams competing for a $100,000 prize pool, the tournament culminates in an intense live event at Vaasan Sähkö Arena.

Vaasa is known for its technological innovations and its position as an energy capital, and it provides an excellent setting for this new event. The Elisa Nordic Championship 2025 is the first esports event to be held in Vaasa. The city’s location and good transport connections make it a convenient setting for competitors and spectators from all over the Nordic countries.

What is the age limit of the event?
The age limit of the event is 16 years old. Participants within the ages of 13-15 can attend with a guardian that is at least 18 years of age.
What is the schedule of the event?
The Arena Stage will be held at Vaasan Sähkö Arena on 23. – 24.5.2025. The Studio Phase will be played in a Closed Studio Environment on 20. – 22.5.2025. Stay tuned for more information.
In which language is the event casted at the arena?
The casting language at the arena will be English.
Where can I buy tickets to the event?
You can buy tickets via Liveto. Tickets will be available on 1st of March.

Which teams are attending the event?
Elisa Nordic Championship 2025 will feature eight Nordic teams that qualify through regional tournaments. Teams will earn their spots from:
Elisa Open Suomi 8 & 9 (Finland) – 2 teams
Sverige Open 2025 (Sweden) – 2 teams
Dust2.dk Ligaen S28 (Denmark) – 2 teams
Norwegian Championship S1 & S2 (Norway) – 2 teams
The final list of qualified teams will be announced closer to the event.

Can I buy alcohol beverages at the event?
Alcoholic beverages can be bought at bars around the venue by people over the age of 18. Alcoholic beverages can only be brought to drinking seats (+18).

Food kiosks are open in various areas of the arena.
